Okay, I'll be the first to admit I don't know what a pet store has to do with Easter, but that was what I set up for the week anyway.
We had lots of animals for sale at our pet store like a dog, a cat, some hamsters, and even a Big Bird. We also had lots of supplies for sale too - treats, toys, a collar, a brush, a bed - most of the supplies came from the dollar store, and all were dog-related so we could use them for our two real dogs when it was time to pack up the shop.
They were coming up with some pretty good scenarios with this one - at one point Riley was the customer and just came in for a few supplies because he was watching his cousin's dog for a week. However, Ava was adamant that he could not leave the store without buying a dog to go with the supplies. I think he eventually gave in and bought the dog too!
Next year I'll have to try a little harder to come up with a Easter-themed dramatic play center, any ideas?
